Flowers & Floral Tributes
The flowers, arranged with everything else
Most people have never ordered funeral flowers before, and do not know where to begin, or even what the different tributes are called. That is perfectly normal. We will guide you through it, arrange everything with our florist, and make sure the flowers are exactly as you pictured them on the day.
The tributes you can choose
These are the arrangements families most often ask for. You do not need to decide anything now, and you certainly do not need to know the right names for things. Point at what you like, tell us the flowers they loved, and we will do the rest.

Coffin sprays
The main tribute, resting on top of the coffin throughout the service. Usually from the closest family, and often the flowers your loved one liked best. They can be as full or as simple as you wish.

Wreaths
The traditional circular tribute, an old symbol of remembrance without end. A quiet, classic choice, and one that can be left at the graveside afterwards.

Letter tributes
Words spelled out in flowers, MUM, DAD, NAN, GRANDAD, or a name. Often the tribute the grandchildren choose, and they photograph beautifully for the family afterwards.

Hearts and cushions
Solid or open hearts, and cushion tributes, both traditional choices from a partner or from the family as a whole. Simple in shape, and they say a great deal.

Sheaves and posies
Gentler, simpler tributes. A sheaf is laid on the coffin or the grave, and a hand-tied posy can be carried and placed. A good choice for a child to bring, if they would like to.

Something of their own
A garden, a football shirt, a fishing rod, a favourite animal. If it meant something to them, our florist can very likely make it. Ask us, whatever it is. Nothing is too unusual.
A guide to styles
These images show the shapes and styles available, to help you point at what you like. Tell us the flowers they loved, and we will build the tribute around them.
A few things worth knowing
Family flowers only
Some families ask for flowers from close family alone, with donations to a charity instead of tributes from everyone else. We will word the announcement for you, and guide you on donations in memory.
Their favourite flowers
Tell us what they loved and we will build the tributes around it, whether that is roses, sweet peas, sunflowers, or something from their own garden. Seasons permitting, we will find it.
Afterwards
Flowers can be left at the graveside, taken home by the family, or, as many families choose, delivered to a local care home or hospice so that others can enjoy them.
Tell us what they loved
Flowers are part of the arrangements we make together, so there is nothing separate to organise and no other number to ring. And if you would like flowers at any other time, an anniversary, a birthday, or simply because you are thinking of them, you are always welcome to call us for those too.
